i’m not surprised…things are not going well for michael phelps.
the gold medalist has just lost his endorsement with one of the largest cereal and snack maker kellogg co. after the pot controversy.
kellog stated that they will not renew a sponsorship contract with the swimmer because he acknowledged smoking marijuana at a colledge frat party last fall.
phelps publicly apologized last sunday for his lapse in judgement after the british tabloid news of the world published the infamous picture of him puffing from a bong.
kellogg says that michael’s behavior is “not consistent with the image of kellogg.” the athlete’s contract with kellogg expires at the end of this month.
to all of his fans…grab a box of corn flakes now before it runs out.
