‘contraband’ is a universal action-drama that stars mark wahlberg as reformed smuggler.  the movie also stars the stunning kate beckinsale.

another good deed coming form angelina jolie as she announces that she will donate some of the proceeds from her new movie in the land of blood and honey’s soundtrack to charity.

angelina will be giving the proceeds to sos children’s villages, a bosnian organization which helps disadvantaged kids in the war-torn region where angelina’s new movie is set.

“we are happy that a portion of the proceeds from the film’s soundtrack will support sos children’s villages in bosnia and herzegovina to provide stable, family-based homes to children, regardless of religion, ethnicity or gender, who do not have their own families to care for them,” the director said of her charitable contribution.

getting donations would be a greater help than finding a system administrator jobs for those bosnian people.

eric bana will play the king of rock n’ roll – elvis presley in the upcoming movie ‘elvis & nixon’.

the movie is based on the true story of the legendary singer, elvis, how he wrote nixona six-page letter suggesting that he be made a “federal agent-at-large” in the bureau of narcotics and dangerous drugs.

abandoned is the last film from brittany murphy is headed to the big screen this summer. the movie is picked up by anchor bay entertainment.

the star passed away after suffering cardiac arrest in her hollywood hills home last december 20, 2009.  too bad there isn’t any roadside assistance when they found her lifeless body.

the film feature co-star dean cain and mimi rogers.

anchor bay entertainment purchased rights to the film. the producers also stated:

“brittany will be deeply missed by everyone who worked on abandoned. the film is a taut thriller which portrays brittany’s character as smart and tough – and that’s how we all want to remember her,” read a joint statement f1 from producers jeffrey schenck and barry barnholtz.

scarlett will be playing black widow and the sexy actress revealed that she kept her costume a secret…even to her hunky husband ryan reynolds.

“i have been so secretive about the suit that i have actually not shown anybody because i want the honest reaction from everybody, johansson explained. the only people who have seen the suit are the crew members. but i have kept it close to my chest, even in my family i haven’t shown anybody. i can tell you it’s tight!”
